UFW Foundation Highlights Achievements In 2024-2025 Impact Report
Los Angeles, CA — Today, the UFW Foundation is releasing its 2024-2025 impact report, covering efforts carried out by the Foundation from July 1, 2024 – June 30, 2025. The report highlights the successes and challenges faced by the UFW Foundation in this time of extreme anti-immigrant and anti-farm worker sentiment from the current administration and shows the resilience of farm workers, staff, and supporters as they live their values of innovation, integrity, ¡Si Se Puede!® attitude, and empowerment.
Highlights from the impact report include:
- Delivering critical rapid response services, such as know your rights, legal defense, emergency family preparedness plans, and urgent communications to farm workers and rural immigrants facing ICE raids and ambushes.
- Using various grants and funding to provide quality legal services to 13,397 immigrants living in the state of California, including removal defense, family preparedness plans, DACA renewals, naturalizations, and much more.
- Providing much-needed disaster and emergency relief efforts, including:
- Organizing and coordinating relief for 1,080 farm workers affected by the aftermath of Hurricane Helene in Georgia;
- Distributing 3,000 masks to farm workers, especially in Ventura County, affected by the January 2025 wildfires;
- Providing 1,107 food boxes to families out of work due to ICE raids.
Erica Lomeli Corcoran, UFW Foundation’s CEO, said:
