Michigan Resource Fund

Michigan is a major farming state; most of the land across the state is rural farmland. Even though the farming season is not full-time due to the snow and cold winters, Michigan is known for a diversity of crops such as cherries, asparagus, and squash. Farm workers travel throughout the Great Lakes Region following the harvest. The challenges and barriers they experience made it clear that the UFW Foundation needed a strong base in the Midwest.
Help us continue our meaningful work to bring dignity to immigrant and farm worker communities. Every day we work with farm workers to share safety, legal and health related information. We help connect community members to both UFW Foundation services and external partner organizations in Michigan.
Your donation ensures we can continue to distribute essential resources focused on Know Your Rights, heat protection, and farm worker safety.
