Nancy Oropeza Magana
Nancy Y. Oropeza Magana is the UFW Foundation State Director for California. She coordinates community organizing strategic campaigns for leadership building and community empowerment in CA and WA.
Through 19 years of organizing experience, she works closely with farm workers and immigrant communities by empowering them to exercise their rights. She has supported the UFW Foundation’s mission, including mass mobilizations at the federal, state and local level, organizing grass roots empowerment, leadership development, advocacy and civic engagement.
As a daughter of farm workers immigrants, Nancy has dedicated her life in advocating for better working conditions and protections for agricultural workers so that they are treated with dignity and respect.
