Juana Carbajal was born in Michoacán, Mexico and came to the United States at the age of six. She spent many years working as a Farmworker before becoming an Organizer with the United Farm Workers (UFW), where she worked for five years. When the UFW Foundation began hiring, Juana applied and has since been with the organization for over 12 years. In her role, she conducts community education, outreach, and emergency services.
