Ways to Get involved
Welcome! We know that everyone has something to offer, to advocate for, and to improve lives in the communities we serve, especially you. The UFW Foundation strives to create an environment that promotes camaraderie, diversity, community, professional growth, respect, AND FUN. Together, we can improve the lives and working conditions of farm workers, immigrants, and underserved communities.

Fellowship Program
Our Fellowship Program creates opportunities for emerging leaders to gain hands-on experience, build advocacy skills, and contribute to meaningful community work. Each year, we run our internal Community Colleges Advocacy Fellowship, and we also host fellows through partnerships with national programs, law schools, and other sponsoring institutions.
Community Colleges Project (CCP) Advocacy Fellowship:
Through the UFW Foundation’s Community Colleges Project (CCP), our attorneys and service providers offer free, personalized immigration legal services to California Community College students, staff, and faculty. This program ensures that everyone, regardless of their status, can access culturally sensitive, trauma-informed expertise at no cost.
The CCP Advocacy Fellowship was developed in response to the growing need for outreach and awareness support for the Community Colleges Project. Fellows will receive hands-on experience in community outreach, advocacy, and engagement strategies while developing independent outreach projects to expand awareness of immigration legal services on campus. Participants will receive a $5,000 educational stipend upon successful completion of 250 hours of fellowship activities, including training, mentorship, and outreach projects. This fellowship is an incredible opportunity to develop leadership skills, make a difference, and contribute meaningfully to your campus community. This opportunity is open to undocumented & AB510 students.
