Farm workers do some of the hardest work in this country, yet once again, they are being asked to carry the burden while powerful interest protects profits. Attempts to weaken the Adverse Effect Wage Rate are not just policy changes on paper. They threaten real wages, real jobs, and real families.
This moment calls us back to the long-lasting values of the Farm Worker Movement: empowerment, solidarity, and the belief that working people should never be forced into poverty to enrich others. To honor these values, we are choosing to act, organize, and refuse to look the other way.
